Walks and visitors

Hello-woofs to everybody, and if you have it, happy new year!
I don't care what the new year is all about. I think Chris only
distinguishes the years because at one point during the night folks
start the huge noise. Chris and I will stay inside the apartment and do
nothing. Chris hates the noises combined with flashes, and I therefore
am on high alert myself. Plus they are really noisy! Chris slept until
the noise reached its climax, then she wandered through the apartment
and then she talked with Micki for a while before going back to sleep.
That was it, and the next morning the ground stank of burnt something,
but apart from that things were rather quiet.

A day later Chris suddenly started talking on the phone a lot and
sending off messages. Then she hurried to get things done on the PC,
harnessed me up, and we walked towards the streetcar stop. On the way I
spotted great Micki and took several attempts to jump up on her. Chris
says I should be careful around Micki, because if I jump high I might
reach her head and hurt her. So she makes sure I sit down, though it is
awfully hard to do when you're so excited and happy! We went to the
store where Micki presented Chris with a flower and bought cigarettes
for herself. Soon after we were all back home, the doorbell rang, and
another lady came upstairs, the friend we had visited in Spain a long
while ago. We really like each other a lot, and she gives me tons of
cuddles and is so friendly.
Chris and I then went on the evening route, and when the doorbell rang
again, Suse came, and I had such fun jumping and romping with her! Then
the humans disappeared in the kitchen, prepared human food, saat, ate
and talked. Trust me, it was late when they left.

A few days later I saw the big boss at work again, and of course,
greeted him. Chris was tied to the telephone, so I went off on my own
and was taken back by the big boss, much to the other folks' delight.
The next day, unfortunately, it was no beach weather, so Chris and the
big boss sat at our home together with sister Suse, and they talked
again. After Suse left, Chris and he talked some more. Chris was annoyed
over something, but she seemed to have found a solution when the tall
man left.

One other day Daniel came to visit, and they two watched a film. Chris
says it was good to watch it with Daniel, because it was very visual,
and Daniel is very good at describing scenes that really provide no
audible clues. chris says the film was really impressive.

And then came the time of the smallballs. Chris has the TV running all
the time, and lately also the telephone. i don't get it! What is the
telephone good for? It can make Chris talk with people, others can see
her, she can take pictures, she can send mails and messages, she can
send voice messages, too.The phone crows and beeps to wake her up, she
can play card games and others, and now also watch smallballs on it - oh
how confusing! Chris laughs and says it is a versatile small box, and
enjoys the variety of smallballs she can follow now.

on the first day of the smallball tail Daniel came to visit, for Chris
had made one of his favourite cakes. They both ate a lot of it, before
she took me for a walk and then went to sleep.

One of the next days Chris changed schedules, and we went to the train
station in the morning, where we saw Micki - no jumps permitted again!
We went to see the folks at Chris' doctor's office, but this time
Micki's matters had to be taken care of. and when we went back, we
stopped by at Suse's, where I got to play and run in the garden with
Krause. He, however, is no runner, he always wants to play growl and
make sure he is bossing me. Sister always interrupts that game of his,
so I can have at least some peace and quiet.

Since then there have been no more visitors, but the neighbour has
presented Chris with a bunch of roses, she herself has bought her
favourite fresias, and is spending lots of time in the kitchen baking.
She has received more new equipment, so she is experimenting a lot, she
says it is for Micki's birthday. Let's she what her plan is - I am out
of that game, it is all about human food!
Cheers, Quito.
