I am so clever!

Hi all!
Well winter is finally here, and I think I am growing warm fur. Chris
says finally am not shedding so much anymore, and ti is time for me to
finish changing fur. True, it's really been cold lately, and I have
raced Chris to work yesterday.

Well generally my days haven't been ll that busy. One night we saw
Daniel and stayed in his apartment for a while. The humans talked nd had
food, and I spotted a ball that Daniel threw for me. Quite stupidly, he
tossed it under the couch, where neither myself nore Chris could reach
it. He should've launched it better! And of course, I also played with
him, which is always great fun.

The next day at work the whole area in the back room was re-arranged,
other doors were open wide most of the time. At one point Chris made me
lie down and stay, and she herself changed positions, talked with people
and I have no clue what that meant. But I stayed and watched. Then she
walked into another room, where the same procedure started. Occasionally
we walked to the computer desk, but then back to the re-arranged room. I
only briefly saw sister Suse, but Chris really made me stay quiet and
not bark for her to play.
Chris says this was an action day with various events and workshops
concerning human health. I was kept in harness all of the day, but
nevertheless, many people got permission to give me pets, and I was
allowed to look at all of them, for they weren't afraid of me.
Yesterday, finally, the sister Suse came downstairs, and we had a brief
but wild playing session. With Suse I can really play rough, chase
apples or sticks and jump as high as I possibly can. That's fun!
I have also learnt the following. When Chris and I come home at night,
she turns on the light ion the livingroom. Whenever she turns it off, it
is time to go to sleep, so I get up and move to the bedroom. We both
think I am quite smart!
So, your smartness needs to go outside for the morning walk, have a good
and chilly day, Quito.

Time's flying!

Hey hey, have I told you that Chris has spotted a blog view from
Ecuador? I think every view is fantastic, so go reading if I get the
time to update!

It appears we weren't on holiday, but that Chris was sent home sick to
cure the bothering ear. She says it worked, and her ear isn't acting up
so much anymore. Sister Suse took me with her one day, nd we also went
to see the vet. I don't mind him poking me, Chris says it was the long
due vaccination.

We had one man visiting whom I didn't like so much, but I think he did
not like me either, for he nevr accompanied us on the dog route, or he
never petted me. I didn't sleep in the bedroom with him either or
watched him as he woke up, but stayed with Chris instead.
Once Micki came visiting and Chris and she were working in the kitchen
before we went to the furniture store with the arrows. Man, it was packed!
Then came another visitor, Eric from work, who was quite different from
the other visitor. Eric was silly and played with me, he even dropped
some food and I cleaned it up from the floor.
Today Daniel and Chris took me to the furniture store again, where they
had breakfast and then Chris bought a bit of human food. oh my life is
jolly, and when I go to Ecuador it'll be fun to watch new people.
Chris, however, insists that before Ecuador I would have to muster a
flight four times as long as that to Spain - ehmmmm - veeeeery long indeed!
So for now I'd better go sleep and rest my full belly, cheers, Quito.
