The past few days - strange!

Hi all:
Of course, since Shadow left us, things have been calm around here. But
Chris brought the treat ball for me to fetch, and we played fetch with
the squeeky ball. She also started throwing the tennis ball against the
wall again. And whenever she fails to catch it, it is my honorable task
to jump, retrieve the ball and hand it back to Chris, mostly in exchange
for a really yummy treat. Fair game, donÄt you think?

But a few days ago Chris and mom and I left to go to the city by bus.
Yippee, I know the route to the bus, and I didnÄt even jump after a cat
while waiting. We took a streetcar and got off somewhere. Chris and I
walked on our own, and I only ran over one down curb. But to make up I
stopped perfectly at the up curb. And then we walked into that one huge
stores with loads of seats, armchairs and couches and all that. Chris
even sat in one armchair, and mom on a couch oposite us. They talked and
talked to this lady that was standing there.
While we were in that store, I had to follow mom around corners, through
narrow aisles and all that - funfunfun! I really love that! And Chris
says I did an outstanding job!
Guess what - I of course managed to impress the lady.
When we left, mom said that she had bought two chairs. Sorry mom, I beg
to differ! You didn't buy them!
When Chris buys something for me in the Hapoo store then she comes out
with a yummy smelling plastic bag. And when you go into the human store,
you come out with things in the shopping cart. But out of there you came
with nothing whatsoever!
So nothing was bought in my humble opinion!

And then we went and I saw our car back, it was parked at the place
where we had bought it. I guess it had to go to car training school so
it works better now.
No news other than that, except that Chris has started watching tennis
with the usual patience, cheers, Hapoo.

My days

Hi all:
Well on Sunday Chris and I had a nice morning routine, even though I was
to stay downstairs while she had breakfast with the sister and her
husband in mom's kitchen. But when Chris came, we went for a nice long
walk. And when we came back, we found the cousin and her daughter and
the nephew. Cousin and Chris had a talk upstairs, and then the cousin
got my leash from Chris, and the nephew followed her downstairs. I don't
know what happened, because the little girl took my leash and we walked
a little. When we were back, I found that the backpack with my water in
it and my flexible leash were in the car. Finally Chris came out, and I
could smell that she had changed clothes and taken a shower. Allright,
we were headding for somewhere. I sat in the cousin's nice spaceous car
with Chris and mom and the cousin. We stopped at a place with many other
car and people, and Chris put me in harness. We walked along a wide road
and the crowds got heavier. I spotted horses and tried to show them to
Chris, but she told me we weren't going to play with them. When we were
told to show our tickets, the lady immediately told Chris that she
couldn't take me inside. Chris said that of course I was going with her,
and could she please check back with her supervisor. The lady asked us
to wait somewhere while she was checking many more people's tickets. And
then she told Chris we were a different case and the supervisor had said
okay. Of course okay, I am the bestest Hapoo in the world - just ask
Shadow!
We went up a few stairs and the humans sat down - Chris and I at the
edge beside the cousin. And the boring part began. Horses and horses and
more horses came on the large square down there, and the music played.
The folks with working eyes described for Chris and I took a nap.
Describing is not my job, mind you!
Then we had some time to stroll around, and the nephew and the little
girl helped Chris give me water. And the cousin gave them all something
to eat. I am not supposed to tell that she thought of me too and slipped
me something. I love her for that, but Chris says she'll have a word
with the cousin. Come on, we had a great day!
And then more horses and more horses doing different things. Chris says
they were all stallions working together so nicely and without biting or
hitting each other.
And then we walked back towards the car, the cousin, the little girl,
Chris and I, before the others started their big move. Chris let me run
off leash in the large meadow by the road, where I did my business. She
says I can poo where horses poo. And then they all had picknick by the
cars and Chris and nephew played with the little girl. They even grabbed
the man and played swings with him, and even the sister and mom, while
the cousin held my leash. And then Chris spun the little girl around and
let me run again. I tried to get to the cake, but everybody stopped me
right away - fun spoilers!
And then home we went, and tell you what - I was really tired!
Yesterday in the afternoon Theresa, Chris' not so little friend, came
over and brought cake for the humans, and then Chris and I went for a
long walk. Nice walk, nice weather. I think now she is waiting for a
visitor, and then we'll see what the day brings.
Cheers, Hapoo.

Once again - finally!

Hi all woofers and people:
You have missed me? Well I missed you too, but whant can you say about a
human who is obsessed with the computer, so I can barely put my paws on
the key? And I do have a lot to tell!
A good two days ago Shadow left, and 6that was no fun at all! This time
Shadow was really cool, and in return I tried not to lick him much.
Shadow was the one who gave me dinner leftovers in my bowl, of course,
always authorized by her majesty the bestest Chris in the world. And she
also made sure that I am put through my routine sit and stay before I
can run to grab my treats! Once she even coached Shadow how to stand and
hold his hand and speak so I bark on his command! And when I did that
noisily and successfully, he gave me a treat from his hand, which was
his debut.
When we went for lunch and evening walks, Shadow always accompanied us,
which was fun and cool! I love walking with everyone, so I am sure they
cannot leave while I am on my walk. When Chris took the trash out, he
let me off leash and made sure I stayed until he told me to run. Of
course, first I ran to Chris to see if this new stuff he's doing with me
is okay, but she didn't complain.
By the second time he let me go I was pretty good with my stay, so I
was! And Shadow also found sticks for me to play run with, and tug with
Chris. He can throw the stick really far, but I always take them right
back to Chris and drop them near her. She tells me to put them in her
hand, but I am too excited and impatient for that.
But Shadow also tells on me when I pick up something off the ground, or
I see a cat or another dog, which gets him praises from Chris and a
strange look from me. But I guess she is the boss for him, too, at least
where I am concerned.
And now he is gone <woof> I stayed in my Hapoo house the first day, but
yesterday I decided it was fn to play.
Allright, I'll try to keep you more updated, cheers, Hapoo.
