Nice changes

Good morning once again:

I have to say that during the past days not much has happened in our
swing of things. However, last week was a little more eventful than the
rest. One morning Chris and I had an appointment with a colleague. I
like her loads, but for some reason she does not like me. So i try to
keep my tongue away from her, and she respects my presence. Then another
lady joined us, and she did pet me.

During the lunch break sister Suse accompanied us for the walk, and she
tossed a frozen apple for me, so I could let my legs fly and chase it.
The next day sister came and picked us up to go to her home. In her
garden I met her dog Krause. He and I played a little while, and then we
walked to the city. Most of the time the sister walked ahead of us, so i
could follow and find the way. both ladies say I did a great job, though
I was pretty excited and enthusiastic. Then we walked into one of those
shops where a lady took Chris on a chair, and sister tied me to a metal
bar on the ground, fro where I could watch everything. Suse and krause
left, and the lady messed around with Chris' hair Finally we left, and
they were both happy with Chris' new look. Allright, that is certainly
something I have nothing to say about - boring.
Then they ran a few more errants, and then Chris and I took the
streetcar home.

Boy, did it snow! It snowed all the time, always a bit, and Chris was
annoyed. The following day we had to walk home in the snow, and she was
pretty relieved to have me drag her through these rough conditions.
I think today we re also going to do something different, ut I have no
idea yet what that will be. This morning we walked a longer
morningroute. That was quite a slippery road, but Chris was careful,
while I kept sliding full speed. I still liked the walk. I also think we
will travel soon, Chris has started to look more closely at the suitcase
we usually take along when travelling. Let's see, let's see!
Cheers for now, keep safe and warm, Quito.

Winter walks

Hello warm and cold, how are you?
Here we keep having snow on and off, and, believe me, when it was
completely gone it was really strange to see. Now we have some snow
back, which keeps coming in the night and leaving during the day. Chris
says this amount is just acceptable for her and causes no major trouble.

Let me tell you about a great adventure. One day Micki came to visit,
but just after she had arrived, Chris picked up her jacket, and we left
the apartment. Downstairs Daniel was waiting in the car. I jumpet in and
shared the back seat with Chris. We went to the big store where we
hadn't been for ages. Chris first bought shoes and a dress and a
handbag. She says that went on so quickly, she was amazed. Then they
went to get rid of a few bottles that were empty, and then to the
cosmetics store. Then to the store where she always leaves loads of
money. This time she bought another machine that she later set up in the
kitchen. Then we walked to the nearby store where Micki bought some
stuff for her house, and on the way back the ladies bought some flowers
for themselves. Oh yes, and of course, in between they had human food.
Oh I was tired when we returned from the evening walk, but Chris says
she enjoyed being out with Micki and Daniel. Daniel took care of me when
the places were narrow and he didn't fit in in his wheelchair. At first
I complained, but then I gave in and stayed with him.

A few days later Chris and I had a busy day at work. We ran back and
forth between places, I got to play with the cool colleague called
Michael who wrestles with me sometimes. I also ran after sister Suse,
having spotted her on her way to the cafeteria. But I found her in the
lounge area in the middle.

And once we were going back into the office area. I discovered - would
you believe it - Mr Mylove! What was I missing, why didn't I know? I
think my spying abilities must have left me for a short while! Anyway,
once I remembered who he was, I jumped up on him and challenged him for
a little play session. He is cool and fun, trust me. He kept us company
while Chris was working in the lounge area, and then she and I left to
go home.

The next morning we had a change of plans. Chris was asked to go into
another room and attend a presentation about something i have no clue
about. Then she stopped by at her desk, and then we went into a small
room, where she lay on a high kind of bed or table, and the very kind
lady gave her back a relaxing massage. And while Chris was getting
dressed, I received my own share of cuddles, which I enjoyed.

In the evening we saw Mr Mylove again, and another colleague of his, and
went out to have food - human food that is. Chris says it was allright
but not great. And then we all went to walk in the wind and chilly
weather. i got to run on flexible leash and the men took turns holding
the other end. On the way back I met another dog. He was cool, and had
it not been so dark, I am sure we would've been a good match for a great
playing session. It's just a pity we did not go to the sandy beach, where
I could have run and tossed myself in the sand. But Mr Mylove was too
cold and tired.

The next day cousin Anne came to visit. I only see her at work, and then
I am not allowed to greet her with all my enthusiasm. But this time I
was, and it was fun. The ladies, too, had fun together, and they said
the time was flying.

There you go, and it's already the weekend. My great sister Suse is ill
at home, Chris says she spends her days in bed, and Chris hopes she will
rest and recover well.
Have a good time, cheers, Quito.
