The two sides of summer

Hi aoo,
how are you?

I am fine, now that the weather has come back to normal temperatures!

The good thing about summer is that I can go swimming in the lake. Twice
during the past weeks sister Suse has picked me and Chris up, collected
her own dog Krause and Micki and niece Lena, and gone to the lake with
us. We always had to walk across the field a little. Krause and I had
the chance to play, while sister Suse watched that I wouldn't go
strolling too far away. and when I spotted the water, I ran inside and
tried to get Krause to play. It appears that he is afraid of the great
element, but Suse very patiently tries to show him that it is nothing to
be afraid of. I want to play with him, but Chris tells me no, for he has
to be left alone during the lessons. Chris was amazed at how well and
how far I can swim. I can bring a stickk from far out, and I can swim
calmly to niece Lena when she calls me. I just love the water!

What I don't like is the hot hot weather. My skin gets dry no matter
what Chris tries, and i have to scratch myself, and Chris brushes me
daily, which i a not too fond of either. I am receiving some medication
through a syringe, and it really tastes nice. i had to learn that it is
no threat, but now when Chris stirs it in the tiny little cup, I come
into the bathroom and wait. Chris says Hapoo also used to do that, so it
tastes good. Chris hasn't tried it, although she says it is not bad for
huans with a skin problem either. But she has no skin problem, because
she does not have so much hair.
And while I am happy that we are in the low twenties, Chris complains it
is too cold, and she wants summer back. I suppose I should tell her she
should be happy that it is not showing.
Have a good day, Quito.
