Adventurous with Mr Mylove

Hello all:

Oh I am exhausted. Thanks Chris, for letting me use the computer so
shortly after the adventure!

We started off what Chris calls last Friday, she had to work first, and
then we took the streetcar to the train station. We walked upstairs, i
found the right staircase to the central hall, and there we walked to
the bakery shop first, and then to the desk where a lady was waiting to
take us to the train. The weather was hot, but in the train the
temperature was allright. We got off onto a platform, which was buzzing
with life. A man helped us find the other platform, where we had to wait
until a lady picked us up and helped us board the next train. Soon after
we had settled, a boy got on and asked where he could sit. Chris said he
could sit beside her, provided he didn't mind me. He did not, petted me
and even gve me a treat. Chris talked both to him and to a man sitting
behind us. So the journey was fun for her and she was not bored. So when
we got off there was nobody to help us find the next train, but a young
couple stepped in, took us to the service terminal, and there a man took
us to the city train. We only caught it because it was late.
And when we got off, I spotted Mr Mylove, guided Chris towards him and
jumped up on him. He rewarded me with a yummy treat, took over the
leash, and we walked home. I got food and water, the humans had
something to eat, and then we all slept.

The next day after a nice long morning walk the humans had breakfast,
watched cars racing on the TV, and then we all went outside, took a city
train, got off and started walking. At first they let me run free and
see if I could play with other dogs. Then we found a place where I could
swim in the river they call Main. The usual park was closed, because
horses had taken over the ground, and I could not have gone for a swim
there. But this river was fun, too, and it is good to cool off in the
rivers and swim. We then continued to walk along a very narrow route, I
first, then Mr Mylove, and finally Chris. The road was really narrow,
but the humans had fun with it. They even discovered a cherry tree with
ripe cherries, Chris and Mr Mylove say these were the first ripe ones
they have ever seen. Then, however we had to return, because water was
blocking the way, and they did not think swimming to the other side
would work. So we turned and walked back. And when we had stepped out of
the jongle, Chris showed her legs, which were scratched by the thorns of
the wild roses. Mr Mylove was wearing long pants, but Chris had decided
against them, because the weather was still warm. We then continued to
walk through the heat until we arrived at an outdoor pub, where we took
a break.
Then we took the train back and stopped at another outdoor pub where the
humans sat right by a fountain on the ground. Back home I just waited
for my food and then slept, while the humans were watching some kind of
music show they call Eurovision something something. They had loads of
fun with it and finally turned off the lights very late.

The next day they called Sunday we went out for a dog walk, upstairs and
the humans watched lots of TV, and I slept and slept and slept. We only
went outside for the evening walk and a stay at the outdoor restaurant,
and then all continued sleeping.

The day after that we left the house fairly early and walked to the
train station, took a train into the other direction, got off, walked a
bit, saw the river they call Rhine, but I couldn't swim in it. Then we
took a boat called ferry, noisy thing I didn't like so much, and then
walked another little bit until we found a quiet place where I could
swim and the humans could relax. They both walked into the water, threw
wood sticks for me, and I swam to retrieve them and put them back on the
shore. Chris says I really swam like a champion, calm and really long,
and I surely had lots of fun retrieving the wood. Chris got a little
sun-burnt, but she says she enjoyed sitting there with Mr Mylove and
just relaxing by the river.
After we had returned, we went to the outdoor restaurant again, the
humans spent hours talking to the couple at our table, I took a nap and
waited to go home, so I could get my food. Chris packed the bag, talked
a bit with Mr Mylove, and then they slept.

In the middle of the night they both got out of their beds and dressed.
Chris put collar, signal jacket and short leash on me. I had a bit of
water and smelled smoke then. Outside there were huge cars making lots
of noise. Somebody knocked on the door and told the humans to stand by,
whatever that meant, and so Chris sat down on the couch, left the leash
on me and I lay down and waited, watching the humans. Mr Mylove tried to
minimize the smoke in the apartment and told Chris what he could see out
of the window.
The man knocked on the door again and said everything was allright, so
Chris removed the collar, leash and signal jacket, put down her handbag,
undressed and lay down in the bed beside Mr Mylove to sleep a little
more until the alarm clock woke her up.
She finished packing the bag, had a cup of coffee, and when we stepped
out into the corridor, the smell of smoke was strong. I only reluctantly
followed Chris, who quickly walked down the stairs. Mr Mylove said one
of the trash cans right at the house wall must have caught or been put
on fire, half of one car was burnt, and so was part of the house wall.
We walked to the train station, took a bus and got off. I recognized
that we were at Mr Mylove's work, and soon I found the big boss there
and greeted him. They put me into his car, then Mr Mylove said goodbye
to Chris, she got into the car, and the big boss drove off with us.
We took several breaks until we arrived at home, where Chris got
settled, took me on the evening route, and then Daniel on wheels,
thistime on crutches, visited us. He showed Chris how to use the new TV,
and she started to watch the small flying balls and discovered that her
favourite Rafa man had won easily.

So there we are, a lot of adventures during the weekend, and I really
enjoy being with Mr Mylove and Chris, both of them together. This
morning Chris has already vacuumed the place and cleaned all dog bed covers.
We are on holidays now, so Chris can watch the flying balls, cheers, Quito.

Something I don't like...

Hi all:
I thought the next big adventure was to be the trip coming up! I have
found out that we ar going to see Mr Mylove, and Chris is really really
looking forward to it.
However, yesterday she has finally discovered that ball of hair that had
been caught at the inner side of my right upper leg. I had been trying
to get rid of it myself, but it was too massive. Finally Chris found it,
grabbed a scizzors and cut it off. She discovered some more dirt, so she
picked me up, put me in the bathtub.
The bathtub itself isn't all that bad, but that water spitter hisses
like a snake, and I really don't like it when it hisses. The shower
hose, however, is nothing to run from - if only ths spit hisser wasn't
so close!
So Chris washed the leg, and called me to get out of the bathtub myself,
which i was really good at. I even stayed by her and waited until she
had dried me off completely.

This morning, before she and I went to work, Chris discovered that that
spot had not improved. She cut off some more hair around that area, tried
to clean the wound, and then we walked to wor.
There Petra looked at the spot and said it didn't look so good. For the
duration of that meeting in the upstairs office she made sure I would
not lick, scratch or bite it. In the afternoon I saw sister Suse, who
also took a look and said it wasn't so bad. By now it had dried up, but
Daniel on wheels said it might be better to see the vet before we go
travelling tomorrow. So Chris agreed, she and Daniel took e outside, and
then we drove to the vet. There I saw a cat oposite the room but both he
and I were really calm. And once he had left the room, we were called
in, the lady and the man picked me up and put me on the high table, and
the man looked at the spot.
He said it was good we came, but I had only licked it too much. He also
expressed my anal glants, which were pretty full and stinky, and then I
was allowed to leave the high table, this time carried by Chris and the
lady, who then proceeded to give me delicious treats. The man gave Chris
an anti-septic spray, she gave him money in return, and then we left, me
dragging Chris behind me to the door, of which I surely know where it is.

We drove back, and then the two humans had food, and then Daniel took us
home. There I tossed and turned in the grass - I shed for two currently,
and sometimes I just have to scrub my back.
Chris says I will travel to see Mr Mylove with her, which will be fun,
even though we will not be able to go to our favourite swimming park, as
there will be many horses, stages, people and more people.
I will update you on that when we return, have a good time, Quito.

The weekend past

Hello all:
I have promised a report of last weekend, so here it is finally.
That one day Chris worked and worked, until she finally closed the
computer, ran around and then placed the little suitcase in front of the
door. Then she harnessed me up and we had to run to catch the streetcar.
We arrived at the train station, and thistime I decided I wanted to use
the stairs up instead of the elevator. We walked through the hall and I
found the exit, but in front of it Chris made me turn and I found the
entrance she wanted me to find. There is a flower store there. Micki had
described its location, and Chris and I found it.
A lady put together a few flowers, wrapped them in paper, and then Chris
and I walked to the place where we are usually met by somebody who takes
us to the train. The lady was there, so we went and got on the train.
The lady gave us a really spacious fourseater, and I stretched out and
slept through most of the ride.

When we got off the train, I spotted the friend and her mom. The mom
likes me, but the friend and I are a little reserved about each other.
We took a bus and then a nice dog walk before I could plop down and
sleep. I have decided to choose a different place than what they had
assigned to me. I like to sleep where I can see everything, and the
ladies let me, even though it was closer to the friend.
The next day was a quiet one, but the day after we took a very long walk
to run some errants That wasn't bad at all, because we walked side
routes where I could sniff and relax.
I also met two dogs, they were both nice.

The day that followed was quiet again, and the day after that we went
for another long walk, but this time we ended up in a place where there
were many other people and a few other dogs. People had tables set up
along the aisles, and it looked much like a colourful outside shop or
so, but with way more people and no shopping carts. Then the friend and
Chris and I went to a little kind of meadow, where I plopped down and
rested, while the mom walked through that outside shop again, which they
call fleamarket, by the way.

Back home I had the chance to rest, it had gotten really warm outside.
Then Chris packed the bag, and we all walked to the train station again,
where Chris and I boarded the train and went back home, where a lady put
us on the right streetcar, and we walked home.

The day after we went to work, where I saw Daniel. He took us with him
in the afternoon, and we finally ended up in the store where we spend
much time when we go there with Daniel. This time, however, Chris only
received loads of paper pages, and we left after a long talk and looking
at many strange items with a nice man. And as Chris and another man
finalized that paperwork, Daniel and I played catch the leash. I won and
killed it, but when Daniel asked me to give it to him, I did.
After that the humans stopped for something to eat, and then we went home.
Chris is really full of energy, I wonder what's next on our agenda, I am
sure there is something coming up, because thebag hasn't been put away
completely.
Cheers for now, Quito.

Running weekend!

Hello from the fast side of the world:

Three days ago the sister came and picked us up, and Chris took the bag
and my food along. The weekend started boring, because they left me in
the car and went shopping. But then I came along to pick up something
else for dinner, and we went to Micki's and Suse's and Lena's home,
where there was no other dog anymore. I did not even spot the cat! Suse
and Lena took me outside with them, and I met the huge dog called Elisa.
She is a bit of a rough player, but I don't care, I play and let her run
and I run with her. We found the pond and romped inside it before the
humans could call us away. We both came out stinking like dirt and very
happy about our actin plan success.

The next morning Chris and Lena took me for only a short walk, and then
we went to see Elisa again. Then came the really long long walk, during
most of which I was allowed to run free, while Elisa had to be kept on
leash. Chris even petted the big cat, and I sniffed him out and he did
not hit me with his claws. I was very nice, and he was very cool. After
all, I know cats from my initial trainer!
Then another man came with the car and picked us up, because Chris says
she was so exhausted from the brisk pace over two hours!
Finally we were back home, and the humans changed from balcony to
outside lounge, and Chris enjoyed the sun. Soon another dog came, called
Clara, but I was not allowed to see her. They say she doesn't like other
females around her - I don't get it!
Yesterday in the morning Chris took me on another walk along the field
route, which we both enjoyed a lot, and then the sister took us back to
work. Oh boy, I think my muscles are all hurting from the lots of
jumping and running I did! And as I hear it, we are going away for the
next weekend and the one after that, too!
Allright, off to work for now, and then see what's next on the agenda,
cheers, Quito.

The rest of the week

Hello once again:

Allright, the busy week is over, and now I can tell you what it was all
about. I did not get lost anymore on the way to that hotel, but I was
the pro as always, and Chris and I never had to go on the lunch dog walk
on our own. We always had wonderful people walking with us. During the
week I had one favourite man, who was always waiting at one of the
tables as we walked into the restaurant in the mornings. I always
greeted him quickly but calmly climbing up on him and giving him a kiss,
before he petted me and said hello. And then there was the favourite
person to play and be silly with - the man who usually went on the dog
walk with us and who had me on flexible leash during that time. He was
funny and silly and always sat down on the floor to greet me. Of course,
the rest of the people were just as nice, and all of them helped Chris
where i was not able or allowed to help, e.g. grab food or get coffee.

On one of these days in the afternoon the gentlemen took us downstairs,
and there at a table outside I spotted the big boss. He had parked the
car just outsiide the door, so we all got inside and drove to his place.
Well at first it started to rain, then the humans left me in the car and
went shopping quickly, and then we went to his place, where they had
food. And then we went outside again, this time to the beach. Chris
loves to go to the beach with the big boss, and I could run free and
explore the place. I also went into the water, but it was surely colder
and rougher than the river by Mr Mylove's place.
Then we went back to the house, the humans had wine and talked, and then
Chris and I stayed there for the night, she slept on the couch, and I
slept on the carpet and looked down the corridor, just in case.

In the morning Chris woke up - she had really slept well. Soon I heard
the big boss upstairs, so I walked up and said hello quickly. The larger
goodmorning party followed when he came downstairs. The humans had
coffee, and the we went outside for a morning walk, to the bakery and
then into the house again to have breakfast - well the humans did. Then
we went back to the city, and the big boss took us right to the glass
elevator of the hotel. I loved being with him, but I do not like the
elevators!
Have I told you that I even walk through the revolving hotel door with
the man who takes me for the lunch dog walk? Chris doesn't like these
doors, but I don't mind. Yesterday we went to the hotel again, but we
left the place early, Chris had lunch with the two gentlemen on the city
wall, we walked a really huge dog route, and then they took us right to
the streetcar home.

Once we had arrived, Chris talked on the phone, and talked and talked.
Of course, in between we went for a dog walk and she fed me, but she
talked with the friend, shortly with Mr Mylove, and then for a long time
with the master of sounds, as she calls him. She says she wants to get
herself a large TV and a good sound system. She also told me that when
we go see Micki and the sister, the tiny dog will be missing. She says
he is asleep in a bed of mother earth under the tree at home. I think I
would not like to sleep there, but sne says Hapoo, the royalty, has a
bed there, too, with flowers on it.
Tomorrow, she also tells me, I will go for a great walk with Elisa the
tall dog, who is a fantastic playmate. So let the sister come and pick
us up, so I can jump up on her and show her all my energy!
And then I want to swim with Mr Mylove, play with Elisa and sleep by
Chris and do all the fun things!
Have a good time, cheers, Quito.

Fantastic weekend!

You know what I love most of all? When we go out and I can excell. Well
actually it is not excellence but my job, nothing more. But Chris thinkg
I am doing excellently.
Well, two days ago Micki arrived, and after she had looked around and
checked on Chris' flowers, we all left the apartment, went on the dog
route and then on to the streetcar. We got off in the city center, I
took Chris along the street, and we walked towards the university
square, where a stage was built up, and some noisemakers made noise, and
people were standing around in flocks. I found my way through, Chris
holding on to the harness and simply following. At one point she turned
around to ask Micki something, but Micki could not hear her, so she just
held on and gave me the general direction, and made people get out of
our way. There was no other chance, as there was no space to avoid the
flocks. Once we had passed that little bit of chaos, Chris asked me to
find the hotel entrance, and there we were. She made me stop at the
desk, the concept of which I still fail to grasp, exchanged a few words
with a lady, and then the lady helped her make sense of the elevator
buttons. I am an elevator pro by now, I can wait patiently until Chris
tells me to step inside. We walked along two aisles and then a lady met
us inside a restaurant. We walked down a few steps, I showedChris a
door, and she says this is where we will be going from now on. We worked
that route a few times before we took the elevator back downstairs. Then
we walked the little dog rute I remembered from the time we had gone
there with Daniel on wheels.

We visitid the hissing fountain, I cooled my legs in the water, less
fearfully than the previous time, shiffed out the huge trees, and then
showed Chris where we had to go to get back on track. We found the hotel
entrance again, Micki always behind us, upstairs again, and there at the
restaurant we met this nice lady again, who invited the ladies to have a
cup of coffee by the window in the shining sun. And then we left the
hotel and walked to the streetcar. Okay, on the way there I wanted to
greet a tiny dog, but Chris told me off - pity!

Once I had found the streetcar, Chris took off the harness, and we
walked along the street and into a few shops. Then tw took the streetcar
back home, Chris put down all her technology, including the GPS device,
nd then we went to the supermarket to go shopping for Chris. Believe me,
I was really exhausted when we came back home, went on my bed and slept.
Yesterday we had a quiet day, and today Chris says we will have our
first solo walk to the hotel and the room I was shown. i am confident,
and Chris will just have to trust me, because I know better than she!
Have a good good day, cheers, Quito.

Wonderful, wonderful work!

Hello hello hello every crawler out there!

Have I told you that my week has been really interesting? It started
with a day at the office, but in the smaller room. There Chris worked
highly concentrated alongside the old man. And when we finally went
home, she was very satisfiedd.

However, we did not go home like this, but Daniel on wheels took us.
When we had arrived, Chris left me in the car, went upstairs and
fortunately returned. We arrived at Daniel's place, but did not go to
his home, but took the streetcar instead. Streetcar is routine, and far
better than bus. We got off in the city center, where I had to be
reminded quickly that it was now job time, and so I guided Chris right
up to the entrance of the hotel place, where I had been before. We did
not go inside, but took another route outside instead, to a little tiny
park with a fountain in the middle. That was a hissing, water shooting
monster. Chris coaxed me into the water. Admittedly it was very shallow,
but the fountain shot the water at me. So I was happy to get out and run
around the area. Chris says we three were a perfect team, Daniel
explaining the route, Chris knowing where she was and I guiding where
needed. And I really love my work when we go exploring!

The next day Chris got up and hid in the kitchen. She has no more large
coffee machine, so she prepared coffee, andpoured the small portions
into a large isolation can. And when we returned from the dog route, we
met Daniel again. In the car I went, Chris got the coffee from upstairs,
and then we drove for a long time, I had to be attached to the car's
safety system, because the ride was long, Chris insisted.
When we arrived we were at a wonderful place with horse hills that
smelled exciting, and with many trees and all that. I could only explore
for a short while, because then we went for the humans to watch that
strange game where people chase a ball around a field from one point to
another and back, and they call it baseball. I tried to position myself
so I could both have a good overview and sneak pets from people, but
Chris put an end to it too soon. We stayed there for a long while, and
Chris really enjoyed being outside, watching that sport and relaxing in
the sun. When I got impatient, we left that place and went for a nice
walk through the park. And then we started the way back, humans
listening to musicand talking and me sleeping, looking outside or just
relaxing. Cool day I say, really!

And the day after that Micki arrived in the afternoon. First they
searched for something in the apartment, I have no idea what, and then I
met the sister Suse, who unfortunately did nt take me on the dog walking
route, and then we went shopping with Micki. Oh I was so so tired when
we got back home!
The next two days were spent fairly quietly, first in the small office
again, and then at home, with Chris working and me sleeping. She says
today we will go to the city center again to see me working again.
Allright, will do!
Have a great time now, I have got to give the computer back to Chris,
cheers, Quito.
