Hi all:
Have you noticed that I am updating the blog more often now? You see, after all I respect my interested and patient readers, and I confess that I enjoy playing piano on Chris’ computer keys, it’s so much fun!

A couple of days ago, some two or three, we went on a trip, mom, Chris, the two kids and I. We walked through a park which was quiet most of the times. At one point Chris put her handbag down beside me and gave my leash to the boy. Mom and she disappeared inside a cabin and then did something stupid. They had the cabin move them up and down and up again, back down and up the other side a couple of times. I don’t know why that should prove pleasure to anybody. I am grateful Chris did not insist on taking me into that cabin. Cable cars are enough.

This was not the worst yet. We walked a bit and kept the two kids busy in similarly strange moving cabins or cars, and then Chris attached me to a fence and walked to the other side. I could watch her fly high in a seat, in a wave-like motion. Seriously, folks, by now you must have realized that Chris does have a stupid side to her. Who would volunteer to have something spin and fly them through the air in circles without ever reaching another destination than the one you have departed from? I did not want to believe my eyes when I found she did that twice.

And as if things were not bad enough, we just moved on a little bit before Chris attached me to a bench. Soon the little girl kept me company, and together we watched the handbag and the boy’s hat. This time they were put into cabins that would eventually turn them upside down and come back to the normal position right afterwards. They did this forward and backward, stayed in unnaturally bent positions for a while before flying back down. I would have lost last night’s food by then, but Chris enjoyed those loops and turns. However, she came out of this hell cabin a little exhausted and dizzy and drank orange juice first thong. Oops, I guess I could never have drunk that after such a senseless, risky and stupid ride.

Then the two kids did something equally stupid: The boy drove a little car and had the girl sitting beside him. He seemed to have the objective to crash with the other cars that were moving around in that circle. However, nobody was killed in these accidents, no car broke or exploded, but the kids got off all right and enjoyed the day.

Can you see why they enjoyed it? I can’t, Chris should have wasted her energy on something better, she should have given me more food, or rabbits to run after! Haha, our rabbits have found a way out of their outside cave again! I would love to run and catch them so much, but my master never lets me Have a nice time anyways, yours, Hapoo.

Hello friends:
During the past few days Chris has been in a somewhat strange mod. Even though we had guests, two sisters and their two kids, Chris did not join them much, was quiet and worked by herself. She did not seem to be too happy, she sang less loudly and did not whistle half as much as she usually does. It's a pity, I don't know why that has happened to her. Okay, I am probably to be blamed in parts, because I have started opening doors for myself again. But as you might remember, she has a quite effedtive way of preventing this. Keys seem to be designed so dogs can do whatever they want, they would not be able to open the door the key was used at. I can still put down the handle, but the door just will not open. Cruel, mean, tricky human beasts they are. This is what I sometimes hate them for, they always know better ways than we dogs do. But what she can't do is pull the stolen food out of me. However, when she catches me steeling food, she punishes me. I have started to scream before she hurts me, but unfortunately this does not get me around the repremandment. There is something about Chris that in the end makes her stand as the winner, no matter what I come up with. And the stupid thing is that I always feel uncomfortable when she is not around. Okay, I will stay with mom, but I prefer to be with Chris. I am afraid she will put me into the kennel again this summer, but I will manage, no problem.
So you go and have a good day and remember me when you are in a losing battle, yours, Hapoo.

Hello everybody:
First, here are some more statistics you might be happy about.
While according to last night’s stats German hits have reached the 200 mark, U.S. visitors had already crossed it, and Iranians have even made it beyond the 300. Man, you Iranians must be enthusiastic blog readers, eh? I will forever love you for this and promise never to bite you but only lick your hands
I know Shadow is something like Iranian (a fact he and Chris always have minor arguments about), and he and I always play “Catch me if you can”. Sometimes I am even successful, Shadow is angry and Chris laughs at my successful mischief. But before Shadow totally hates me, let me just mention that the total number of weblog hits have even broken through the 1000 wall! If Chris was not so mean, I would drink some sparkling wine with you.
Talking about sparkling wine, the day I was talking about was her birthday – so finally now I know how people celebrate their birthdays. Reminds me a bit of Christmas, only that one person gets presents, not everybody in the house.

Now honestly, folks: Have you ever seen a dog eating sour cherries? I love them. Our neighbour has some I always pick up from the street or get out of the grass under the tree. When Chris thinks I had enough she only lets me off the leash after we have passed this tree. Sometimes she can be nice, then she gives me one of the cherries she is taking the seeds out of, which is really generous of her. Once she also gave me a bit of carrot, which was nice to chew on I hope she has more of these lovely sweets (or sours), until then I wish you a happy day, yours, Hapoo.

Hi to all my impatient readers:
I know I have ignored this blog of mine, but please, shout at Chris! Whenever she is at the PC she does not allow me to come near the keyboard; she is too busy checking and deleting and replying to all her incoming emails! But now I have been begging for so long that she could not even try to block the PC, haha!

These past days so much has happened!
Two days ago something strange has been going on around the house. Many people arrived, Chris spent most of her day upstairs, and when she came downstairs she was carrying something strange I had never seen. She took it to the kitchen and if I am not mistaken she used it to make carot salad with it, and later she chopped cucumbers and tomatos. Yet another human invention to make life noisier but in a way I think easier. At least my master was really excited about this new item.
Upstairs people talked to her and from the noise I could hear that she got many more things I have not yet seen – little tiny cups out of which she drinks Arabic coffee, a few sweets she loves, vouchers for a place she and Shadow call the M-place and many flowers from what I could smell – and you know that my nose is excellent.
In the afternoon they all sat around the table, had coffee and loads of cake. Mom had prepared a cake with strange things, even whit wine, in it, and everybody loved it.
Many times the phone rang and Chris talked to people, I don’t know, must have been around seven different people, and some also emailed her surprisingly. Yesterday she made herself a gift, something she calls a fax. I have not yet found out what that is good for, but if I know I will let you know.
O and in the evening of this really busy day they sat outside on the balcony and grilled meat and slices of bread. This terrible Chris never gave me even the tiniest bone to chews, but instead she let sister Suse throw them all down to grandpa Ajax – how cruel and unfair!
I also noticed that Chris has not had much time to watch tennis lately, what a relief! She also takes Ajax and me on walks on her own, I don’t know why mom is not accompanying us anymore. It’s still nice, I can raun and smell stuff and jump and challenge Ajax to play with me, which he hardly ever does these days, unfortunately. Currently he is chewing the old bone I have not touched for a week – it’s a chewing bone that does not smell bad! Too bad – had I known that Chris is giving it to him, I would have eaten it right away!
Let me finish for the moment and keep the rest of the story for later, so you at least get a little more to read, yours, Hapoo.

Hello all friends:
I am sorry I did not write any earlier, but I guess after these eventful past two weeks we deserved a little break. However, I am proud to tell you that it took Chris two days to figure out that I opened the living room door in the morning, as soon as I heard Mom getting up upstairs. This morning she must have found out that it was not her being forgetful, but me being bored. She played with the door key and said something, which makes me think she will lock the door tonight and check if I have attempted to open it again in the morning. Too bad, she is always smarter than I am!
Yesterday we were shopping, and again nobody tried to kick us out of the supermarket, how wonderful!
Today it never really stopped raining. And because I have such long fur, Chris reduces our walks to a minimum. She always cleans my paws and body before I am allowed inside. This does not seem to be very pleasant, heehee!
So all for now, I am unfortunate to tell you that she again is spending most of her afternoons in front of the TV watching her favourite tennis, something she calls Wimbledon. Does anybody have a clue what that is?
Cheers, and happy reading, writing, sleeping and eating all weekend, Hapoo.
