The time after

Hi folks,
I can tell you that I was quite tired after Mr Sun had left. I can tell
when Chris misses him. However, the next day we had to go to work, and
there I saw all the cool people again. Have I told you that we had moved
from the big office to the smaller one? It was a not so comfortable
place for me, but I got used to it, of course. The week was normal, and
the following too, nothing extremely exciting happened. Of course, Chris
and Mr Sun talked and talked, and I believe there will be no end in
sight for the far future.

Then one day Chris packed the bag, including some of my food, which
meant that I was going somewhere with her for more than one day. And
indeed, we went to the train station, and there were so many people
there! Chris asked a lady to help her buy flowers, and the lady was
really kind. Then we boarded the train, got off, and I saw a lady and
Chris' friend. We took a city bus for a short while, which was okay, and
then we got off, andI could run on flexible leash. This is the friend
who does not play with me, but she and I ignore each other, and only
sometimes we try how near we can get to the other. I like to lie in the
friend's way, because she wants to go where I am lying. I beliee it is
not my fault, ad she is supposed to look where she is stepping. I
believe all others should know where I am, except for Chris, that is,
for I am her guide dogs, and it is her eyes that are not working. But
for some reason some of the other humans, including Mr Sun and the
friend, don't understand my concept and don't seem to care where her
feets step.

Then we left for home, and every now and then we saw people, went to see
Daniel at his place or something like that. One more time we took the
train and saw Micki and sister Suse and Lena and the cool Krause dog,
and Chris says she had a good time at Micki's home. I, too, because went
outside to the field, which I loved a lot.
We also moved places at work again - and this time I really love my new
place. It is in a nice, quiet corner, where I have some protection and
am in nobody's way. Ican also look out and sometimes am allowed to see
people. It is quiet and not too warm - perfect. Today we also had a
quiet day, though Chris' computer was acting up, and a man had to help
her fix it.
Outside it's the season of noises again, Chris says. I don't mind them
when I am inside - but when I am outside I hope they will not get too
close to me. Chris always gets the scares and says people should give
her the money they are shooting up in the air - that would be much more
efficient.
Allright, I believe she is waiting to talk with Mr Sun again. What on
earth can people talk about for such a long time? I admit I don't spy on
them all that often anymore - it is boring, and I prefer to spend the
time sleeping, or else my ears would catch fire from all that listening!
Goodnight, yours, Quito.

Touring and frozen

Hi all,
Chris permitted that I write a little post before we go to work this
morning.
I have told you that Mr Sun had come to Germany with us. He even boarded
the trains with us, helped Chris to stay awake, so they would not miss
the stop to get off, and then we all took the streetcar home.
I have to tell you, Mr Sun did not like the weathere here - for him it
was just unbarably cold and windy. However, he was brave enough to go on
the walks with us, when I needed to do my business. Chris made him
laugh, and we walked to the bakery to get fresh breadrolls. And in the
evening we went to see Daniel. Seeing Daniel is always cool! The humans
had food and talked, and then we all left for home. Two days later we
took the streetcar in the morning, and at one stop there were both Micki
and Martina - this time without the baby. We went into an office, where
the humans talked with a lady, Martina mainly talked with Mr Sun, and
they all signed many many papers. Then Martina said goodbye, and Micki
and Mr Sun, Chris and I went to a place where I lay down, the humans
talked with a man, and then he showed them several rooms, about which
they also talked. To be honest, I have not the slightest idea whatthat
was good for, as we never returned to that place. We are certainly not
going to live there, for there is no bed ad no place for me - only
tables and chairs - boring!
Then, when the man had said goodbye, we went for human food, and then we
went to the streetcar. By that time my stomach had felt better, and I
finally got to have full portions of my food again, thank Goodness!
Starving is ot ideal, I tell you!
Two days later we took a streetcar and then a train, and then we were at
Micki's place. Chris played the noisy piano, then she took Mr Sun on a
tour of the house, where I was not allowed to oin. She says it is not
good for me to climb steep, slippery stairs. But Mr Sun seems to have
enjoyed it. Then they all prepared lunch, even Mr Sun helped, had a lot
of food, and we all went for the dog walk. Then Chris harnessed me up,
and we walked and walked and walked, Micki leading Mr Sun and me leading
Chris. We saw the church, the flower shop, a place that Chris calls her
father's grave - a location in a quiet, fairly green environment. Then
we returned home by train, Chris and Mr Sun found the way all by
themselves. He loved that tour, too, as it showed him her home.

Two more days, and both Chris and Mr Sun cleaned the apartment, and in
the afternoon Micki arrived. The humans talked and cooked some food, and
then Chris and Micki carried one more shelf out of the office into the
car, and Mr Sun took me. He is not experienced with dogs, but Chis says
he is doing his best. He calls me little ball, and I like that name he
has given me. We play together sometimes, which is cool, really.
The next day we all took a train, and then met the great friend Silke
and her man, and then the man put Chris and me on the train - wthout Mr
Sun! He went back to the warm, warm Hebrew country - fortunately without
me - Chris says very unfortunately without her.
I like Mr Sun, but I don't like the heat - so where's the snow?
Have a good day, talk later, Quito.

The Hebrew Country

Hello all woofs and humans, and everybody else:

I know, I haven't been writing lately, but as usual - here is my excuse:

I was fairly busy, and so was Chris. I told you last time, I had some blood extracted, and I still don't know what for. I remember that we went to an office, where I got to lie down, and Chris and a lady were talking about me and completing forms. And then we left, and that was that. And then one morning we left at a time when I usually sleep. I saw my most favorite taxi man, who took us right into an almost empty train. Chris and I rode and rode and then got off to meet a man I hadn't seen for ages. He took us by car to another place, where we walked into a building. There a lady approached us, and the sound man walked away. Chris talked for a very long time to a lady. I lay down behind her and watched, as my poor Chris was fairly annoyed. But after a while she handed her bags to the lady, the sound man was back, and we all went to collect breakfast for the humans, of course. Then my luggage was returned, and I could watch as Chris said goodbye to the sound man and we followed a man through further checks. By the time of the last check Chris was really annoyed. She even handed the remaining bag to a man but complained that it contained her computer. We walked on without the bag, and I found myself on a plane. Can't remember when I last was on a plane. I guess it is a bit like a train, because it is nice to lie on the floor. Chris talked to a man, and another one brought the computer bag, which Chris was very relieved about.   When we arrived, were picked up by somebody, and I had to climb on something like a moving seat which Chris calls an electric buggy. And when the luggage arrived it was fut on a shopping cart thing, and then Chris and I had to wait for a little while. And then I saw a really cool man, Mr Sun's brother. I liked him the moment I saw him, so Chris let me play a little moment, while she said hello to Mr Sun. There was also a lady, Mr Sun's brother's wife. We all left the building, I got to run and do small business on a patch of grass, and then I was seated in the front of the car by the brother's wife. It took very long till we arrived, and then we entered a house and then an apartment, and then I saw a little friendly lady, Mr Sun's mother. I first was a little nervous, because Chris left me with the brother in the livingroom, and she herself went into other rooms to do things. But finally she returned and kept me comfort. And then the brother took me for a walk, and the mom and his wife went along. Only Chois and Mr Sun stayed behind. I have to say that I like that place quite a lot. We all the three of us have a bedroom, and I have a warm and soft place there. Chris has also brought a food and water bowl for me, and my food. Eventually she bought more food from a store where they had many birds which I was not allowed to play with.

The next morning we went for a little walk, and then we all got into the car again, me with Natasha and Chris, Mr Sun and the lovely lady in the back. We ended up at a wonderful place, where Alexandra covered a stone table with a plastic cover, which Chris thought an excellent idea. Then Chris discovered that the brother had brought everything for a barbecue, which he was setting up. We went to the beaach, where Chris walked into the water and played with me. The water was quite salty and there were waves. Then Chris sat down on the floor, Sergay gave her red wine, which she says was the best she has ever had. They had a good fire in the grill, which Chris enjoyed, whike I was lying behind her, and Mr Sun was also with us. Then the food was ready, and even I received two marvelous bones, one from Chris, and one from Sergey. By that time two other people had arrived, who Chris already knew. And then Mr Sun talked to Chris and everybody listened, and gave her a little box with something in it. Humans call that engagement, where Mr Sun gives Chris a ring, and in return she promises to marry him. She is generally very, very happy whenever she talks or is with Mr Sun. They then had real Champaign, and everybody says that the ring is most beautiful.

The next day the bus horror started. I have decided that I don't like long distance busses. They move and rock a lot, and I have trouble keeping myself in one place. So we took a kind of taxi to a city, where the humans dealt with many papers, and then we returned on a bus. The next day Chris left me with Alexandra, and she and Mr Sun took a bus to the big city, where they met two friends of Mr Sun's, and they only returned home late. They left me with Alexandra one more day, when they went to another city, where Chris got a small tour of a part of the city's very famous university. I myself had to go on a bus once to the nearby city, where they finalized their paper mess, and then one more long tour to the big city. Oh how I hated that! It was hot, and I really don't like the section of the bus where the motor is! Chris and Mr Sun say they went and chose wedding rings, but that’s something I have no idea about. They did not take me along, because they say the place was very narrow. So I waited, we then took a train and then another horrible bus. Then we got off, and I was so stressed that I had to keep going outside for big business, which wasn't so pleasant.

I have to tell you, however, that I also had a great time on a large meadow, where we went every morning, and Chris let me run free, and we played run and bark, and it was such a joy!

Finally Sergay kame back and took Mr Sun, Chris and myself back to the airport, where Chris was not at all annoyed anymore. He said goodbye after we had gotten rid of the big luggage, but Mr Sun stayed with us. As we were waiting for the plane, a man came, asked if he could pet me and then gave the humans coffee and even helped them find a toilet. And then we went back home, where the weather was much colder. A very friendly lady picked us up, we went by train, and then Chris says we went to see her old school. Mr Sun liked that tour a lot. Then we were invited to the lady's house, met the man and I could run in their garden. And then we took the train home.

I think I have talked a lot, so the next bit I will tell you a little later. Have a good day!
