What an exciting day!!!

Allright folks&woofers,
I had to run and take over the PC control, for there have so many things
happened today. In the morning everything was the usual routine, with
the exception that Chris is now going out with me once, letting me go
for the Hapoo walk right before we go to work. We went to work, I drank
the water that was left in my bowl, and Chris started to work. One of my
favourite coaches was there today. After a little while the man who
likes me came and took us away. Well not quite, because the boss came
and said she could take me with her. Well, Chris took off my harness,
and so we parted. The boss took me to my mat and gave me water, and
there I stayed, though I was not quite sure of what was happening. Chris
just didn't return, but suddenly I saw Petra. And when I did not see her
anymore, I decided I had enough time on my own and started to search for
somebody favourite. Petra took pity on me and let me stay by mer side
until I saw Chris and the man coming back. I don't know what they did
and where they had been hiding, but I saw them and Petra let me go. I
jumped up on Chris while walking, and she played sing with me right in
the office - that was fun.

Then she sat at the phone again until the boss returned with two people.
Chris seemed to have expected them, and after they had introduced
themselves to her, Chris called me. Of course, because I am part of the
team. She says during the talk with the man he said that both she and I
are a great part of the team at work. The lady gave me a kiss, and the
man pets, and then we went for my favourite couch corner with tne
wonderful fluffy Hapoo carpet in the middle.

To tell the truth, I didn't want to sleep there, I wanted pets and got
up every time I saw the chance, until Chris very strictly told me to
stay where she put me, and of course, I only had one choice, to obey
her. The ladies talked, and the man sat quietly. It was his turn when we
went back to the desk, ad he brought a camera, a picture click or so. He
clicks, and sooner or later many people can see our pictures on paper.
Usually there is only one picture of us in the newspaper, but they click
and click forever and never stop. I don't like it when the clicking eye
stares at me with the man hiding behind, but with this couple (man and
picture clicker) I didn't mind. Chris worked, and the lady shared her
speech headset and the phone headset. I don't think she had a clue of
what these two were telling her. She just had fun watching Chris do
everything at once. The photo man calmly walked around and took pictures
while the lady sat down and relaxed her feet. She used a chair, but I
think she could have used her time more ifficiently, had she just knealt
on the floor by me and given me more pets and kisses. She says I am
beautiful, o yes, so I am.

Chris says the man was great, because he told her things that she found
important to know, or helpful to know. The lady then talked to the coach
ahd the colleague, and Chris translated, ad he took clicks of their
faces, too.

We went for a walk down the office aisle. That was no fun in one way,
because Chris made me walk very slow. The photo man squatted down to
take more pictures of my beautiful self in my dutiful manner. I wasn't
sure whether to gi and give him a kiss, or to clear Chris of hum as the
obstacle. It was exciting anyway, because I had never had a photo man do
that. He said he would like to take one or two more shots after he had
looked at them, and so we slowly walked back. Chris asked if he wanted a
test walk with me. The lady encouraged him, since he was not too sure of
it. Chris promised she'd have her turn, too. She extended my leash, told
him how to hold the harness handle, and then I guided him straight to
the cafeteria door, where Anne was. I even showed him the door. Then we
walked back right up to my place, and then it was the lady's turn. She
walked faster with me, but I showed her where the plant was, which both
she and Chris didn't mind. Apart from that I cleared her, too, of any
obstacles and walked up to my place. I even barked for them - funfunfun!

Then we went back to the couches and the sleeping carpet, and the boss
joined us. Again Chris had to translate what she was saying for the
lady. She didn't ant her picture for the papers taken, but Chris coaxed
her into it and she did go for a click or two. Then the two people
wanted men for colleagues, so Marian and the other guy came - I don't
know his name, he is never with us so close or so often. They said
something and Chris translated, and then they were clicick-copied as
well.

They left after they had given Chris their email addresses. She says the
lady seemed tired but was really nice, and the man was the most relaxed
photographer she had ever seen. Another lady came and wanted Chris'
opinion on something, so Chris told her to join us for lunch. She just
sat oposite and they taked, while Chris had her food. Of course, Anne
came to pet ad say hi. Then the lady from the neighbouring desks came to
pet me and have Chris write something for her in English, and then Chris
said it was time to go home, she did not want to go home in the storm.
It was not too windy when we left, going downstairs with Anne. Tomorrow,
she says, everything will be back as usual, no strangers to admire me,
no boss to take me with her, just sleepy routine. Allright, why not?
Cheers for the moment and enjoy your sleep (I'm tired), Hapoo the
beautiful.

Snatched the computer

Well really, it is tough to gain computer time in this two-being
household (Chris doesn't want to call me a person). Either she needs the
PC, or she is too tired to let me play.
But here I am again with a cool update. Last night mom was right outside
the door when Chris and I went for the evening walk, and she came
walking with us. We walk a long way and she took things from the car.
That meant that the ladies had supper and then we all went to sleep in
the bedroom. I barked once at night, but only mom heard it and told me
to stop. Chris slept like a rock.

In the morning, this morning it was, I swoke mom up once very early, but
she fell asleep again, until Chris woke her up and I joined. First mom
took a shower and Chris set the breakfast table, and then Chris went to
shower, and mom took me for the morning walk. That was fun.
They had breakfast, sorted out papers, and then we left for the
streetcar stop and the city eventually.
I love the city, it is a wonderful memory tour. We waked all along the
big street with the fun shops after Chris had had a lady mess around
with her head fur she calls hair.

That bit street tour was a memory tour for Chris, she said. She got a
little sad when I showed her the favourite place that she and Shadow had
had, where he had the huge ice-creams and they talked through lovely
weather summer days. She says he is not coming back, she knows, and I am
not supposed to tell that she got a little sad, because it was only a
little. We also went into the food place where she and Shadow used to
have the bestest pasta, and their favourite clothes shop has moved. At
the end of the street tour her backpack was full of non-Hapoo stuff, and
then we returned home by streetcar. And do you know what was fun? We got
off, and Chris told me to go home. I pulled, tried to shortcut over the
grass patches, but took her home right away.

Oh, oops, forgot something! The vet place! O yes, I surely found it when
we went their, and the vet lady was there. Chris lifted me up on the
table, but I don't like that narrow platform. I wanted to jump down
after the vet lady had finished checking me out, but Chris lifted me up
and put me on the ground. She says I am too old to jump.
To be fair, I have to also report that the vet lady said the was happy
with the way I looked. My right ear is a little red, and she told Chris
to monitor it together with Petra, the lady from work. My fur is
allright, my nails are good, my teeth are good for my age, and so are my
eyes and lungs. See, I cannot retire, I am a good old woofer and the
bestestest Hapoo both mom and Chris can get. And I really love them,
since I am not to beg Shadow to be our Shadow anymore, Chris says.
Allright, won't do, but will lick his hand when he comes into my
tongue's reach.
So there you have it, and we are going to the bedroom now. Cheers,
Hapoo.
