The shock with the dog

Hello everybody:

I am so sorry this has taken so long, but we have been incredibly busy during the past weeks. I was going to tell you about the bad thing I did the other day - now it is some time ago.
Well all of a sudden Chris had a visitor, a friend of hers, who came in at work. She stayed, and then Chris took her home. I was a good girl, I showed her all curbs and traffic lights. On the way to the entrance door the little energetic dog came running out of nowhere, and chris let me play with him.

Playing was a lot of fun, until the little one ran towards another little dog on leash, barked at her and she barked back. I thought I had to help and barked - well, I am ashamed to say I bit. O yes, I bit the tiny leash dog so that she cried, and then I shied away. Chris was furious, she walked towards the lady with her dog to see what I had done, and the friend held me, so I couldn't do any more damage. believe me, I was far from that. I felt that Chris was really upset then. She did not repremand me further, but she took me home after a few words with the people, and that was it. O it was such a mess then! She was feeling really bad, until the lady and the man came without the dog and told her what the damage I had caused cost. Chris says I should be grateful the lady is such a nice and calm one, and honest on top.

Later that night we walked to the grocery store, and trust me, I was the perfectest Hapoo ever. Then we had a calm time at home, and the next day at work, o I was so quiet, I stayed on my royal bed and didn't move, didn't even sing for Daniel. I admit, I wasn't feeling so good, because Chris was feeling bad. The tiny dog had a few stitches done on her, but they say everything will heel well. I am keeping my paws crossed it will, so chris won't have to suffer on my behalf.

I promise, in the next post I will tell of action packed days and better moods, Yours, half-as-royal, Hapoo.

breakfast and supper

Hi all:

I could write so much, as so many things have happened, but I am not sure if I can type it up all in one piece. Allright, let's get started:

About a week ago after the morning routine we were picked up by the lady who had visited us for the camera games. We got into her car and ended up at the known furniture store, where the ladies had breakfast and I got pets from kids and looks from many others. After breakfast with lots of talking the ladies took a stroll through the lower floor of the store, and of course, they found things to buy. It was pretty late when we were finally home, so Chris took me for the evening walk.

Not too long after that the weelchair man arrived with his Basti dog. Well I like the guy, but I had to get used to his invasion of my territory and divided attention that usually belongs to me only. I growled to myself and made sure he kept the distance. At one point Daniel, the wheelchair man did not have his wheelchair with him, but those extra legs beside his usual ones that he maneuvers with his arms. He made phone calls, and then two more people showed up.

Chris says she had to negotiate hard until a compromise was reached for watching our national football team on TV with no sound, and listening to tennis with no picture. She says for her it was perfect, and the spontaneous guests didn't mind. I positioned myself at the back of the livingroom by the balcony door, so I could watch everything much better, until everybody meft and we went to sleep.
Chris says those two additional guests were spontaneous ones, and they were both very nice friiends of Daniel's.

The next morning I saw the neighbour dog Cherry, and Chris let me off leasn to run free with her. We got into a bitch argument, as Chris calls it, and I made sure that I was the boss, before we both went our own waxs enjoying off leash time. When I update you the next time, I will have to admit having done something really really bad, so just wait and don't read ahead, please! Cheers, Hapoo.

It's puzzle time

Hello-hello again:
The reason why I can write at this time of day is that Chris got up to watch tennis. She says when the alarm clock rang she didn't want to get up, but she felt that tennis Rafa was in trouble. So she forced herself out of bed and saw a few really intensive minutes of tennis, before Rafa managed to thg the scoreboard figures closer and closer to his chest. She's so proud of his fighting spirit.

Oh well, me rambling again about strange human thoughts. What I was going to tell you was easier to grasp, for the day after the camera Chris worked in the back office, and I lay by her, of course. She says she got a lot of things done, until mom and the niece came to pick us up. Outside we met the sister and the tiny dog. Together we all drove to the store with the loads of couches, shelves and other furniture, where the humans first had food and then went shopping. They bought a lot, and then the sister took Chris and myself home, while mom and the niece and the tiny dog waited outside for the siister to return. Chris says the sister is incredibly strong, for she carried one of the long furniture packages up the stairs and into the apartment all by herself, while Chris took me upstairs and put me into the bedroom, where I stayed without opening any doors. Then the two of them carried the second package upstairs together.

When the sister left, Chris took me for the Hapoo walk, and then she started both watching tennis and playing puzzles with the content of one box, until finally all the wooden boards, dowels and screws shaped a kind of low shelf on wheels. Not a chair on wheels, but a shelf. I wonder what else can be put onwheels - thankfully I need none, I can run fast enough with my paws, especially when a cat is in sight.
Chris was persistent, the next morning after the morning walk she opened the second package and put together the second puzzle. These low shelves she calls TV shelves, were rolled into the livingroom. one now holds the stereo system, and the other holds the TV and laptop and fax machine. We stayed at home for longer, because Chris was expecting a kind of person to arrive to set up the new telephone system, but nobody arrived. And when she called, they told her that they wouldn't come. So she harnessed me up and we ran to work, where we arrived a little late.

Chris loves furniture puzzles, that I can tell you. And she was very happy when they both turned out to be perfectly allright, without her being able to read the instructions.
Cheers for now, I've got to go on the morning walk and then get Chris to get ready to work, now that her tennis Rafa has won, cheers, Hapoo.

Some people demand strange things

Hi everybody:
We were quite busy and still are busy, so I need to update you on something that happened more than a week ago.

That one day after we came home, the doorbell rang and a lady appeared. I think  had seen her before, but I wasn'd sure until Chris told me. Then two more people arrived whom chris didn't know either. They had heavy boxes and other things they put into the apartment. Then all of us went outside, just outside in front of the door, where the man gave Chris something with a cablw. She attached that thing she said was a microphone to her shirt, and another device was put at the back of her skirt. She harnessed me up - were we going to work?
Far from that, we were just walking up the ramp and to the door we usually don't enter, the neighbours' entrance. We did that a few times, just back and forth. No idea what that was good for, it was raining and the other three humans were standing far away just watching or messing with some kind of equipment.

Finally that stupid game was over and we walked back into our own entrance and upstairs into the apartment. There they all hid in the kitchen, where Chris was asked to prepare coffee. That is an easy task for her, she likes coffee a lot. But she had to do things over again, though she needn't prove her ability to prepare coffee, really! She does that every morning.

Then she sat at a computer the first lady had brought, and typed and typed and typed. I sat beside her, because the man had placed something in front of my Hapoo bed. And the apartment was full of light, or at least the livingroom was, and the man walked around with his huge device on his shoulders. The second lady asked Chris questions, and she also wanted me near Chris for pets.

I never knew that a film was made like this, that you have to do something all over again when somebody wants it. Chris says that what we did is going to be part of a small film which is shown later this month.
I was happy when the lights were turned off, then all humans sat down, I walked to see what I could get in terms of pets, they had coffee and talked. Are all films done like this? That is sure going to be an interesting ob.
Have a good time everybody, cheers, Hapoo.
